Freya Wynn-Jones is a director, singer and animateur working across a wide range of professional, educational and community settings. With a particular interest in the relationship between theatre and vocal art, Freya works on numerous collaborations to write, compose and devise new work.

Garsington Opera For All Skegness Residency
With particular focus on isolated coastal communities, Garsington Opera for All works in collaboration with local authorities and cultural organisations to deliver free public screenings of live performances from Garsington Opera, alongside a wider programme of participatory learning sessions for schools and adult groups aiming to promote, develop and sustain cultural opportunity in each area. This year activity is based on the opera Semele.

Mid Wales Music Trust: Shakespeare Project
In collaboration with The Shakespeare Link the project sees professionals and primary aged children coming together to create a new piece inspired by A Midsummer Nights Dream. To be performed at the Willow Globe.

Facilitation Skills Training
Working in partnership, English National Opera and The Royal Opera House are running a weekends training for creatives, composers, singers, directors. The weekend will be delivered by Hannah Conway, Suzi Zumpe and myself.

Garsington Opera First: Silver Birch Devising Project
Working with secondary aged students in Great Missenden to devise new work around Garsington's next Community Opera The Silver Birch.

Garsington Opera For All Pop Up Performance, Thanet
As part of Opera For All's Thanet Screening, we will be working with community groups to create a pop up peformance surrounding the opera Semele, to be performed as part of Looping The Loop Festival.

A devising project for 13-18 year olds involved in the ENO Baylis Programme. Inspired by ENO's upcoming production of Aida, we will be working with 50 young performers and 20 young designers to explore and create our own work.

Garsington Opera For All Pop-Up Event, Bridgwater.
As part of Bridgwater's new arts festival, a pop up choir event will be held at the Semele screening. Free for anyone in the community to come and join.

Royal Opera House : Opera Exposed
A 4 day residency taking place with 14-19 year olds in Leicester, Opera Exposed will see young people come together to form an opera company and explore repertoire, studying the voice and stage craft techniques to bring the music from page to stage.

English National Opera : in partnership with NSPCC
As part of an ongoing partnership between ENO and the NSPCC, a 2-day residency will be held devising around the topic of Aida with young people from across the country.

Glyndebourne: Raise Your Voice
Raise Your Voice is an opera project for local people living with dementia and their carers run by Glyndebourne's Education Department with support from local volunteers.
